Selwyn Cattery Facilities - Cattery Barn is Located in Selwyn District

Cattery Barn was purpose built in 2017 and designed to meet the standards set down by the ICC (International Cat Care).

Situated on 5 acres in a tranquil country setting with plenty local wildlife to keep our guests entertained. Quails, Pheasants, Rabbits and Hedgehogs are regular visitors along with our four resident Lamas and two cats.

Standard units house up to 2 cats and family units house up to 4 cats from the same household. All units are split between an indoor sleeping area and outdoor covered patio. A door and a cat flap provides easy access between the indoor and outdoor rooms. Just like a hotel, all units are cleaned and serviced every day, with a sanitizing deep clean between bookings.

The cattery has been built to the residential housing code and is fully insulated and heated by a wood burner and heat pumps. There is also a separate isolation unit just in case of sickness.

All guests are provided with comfortable bedding, scratching posts, toys, maintenance grooming and lots of cuddles.

We are a cat only environment – no barking dogs.
